About me
I am a senior lecturer in environmental biology at the University of the West of England, with expertise in plant ecology, biodiversity conservation, climate change ecology, GIS and remote sensing, and ethnobotany. My research focuses on understanding how environmental change affects ecosystems and plant communities, with particular interests in invasive species, forest ecology, and climate resilience. I am passionate about combining field-based ecology, spatial analysis, and applied conservation research to address real-world environmental challenges. Alongside teaching and research, I actively collaborate on international projects that promote biodiversity monitoring, sustainability, and community engagement, particularly through UK–Pakistan research partnerships.
