About me

My role at UWE is within the Bristol Business School | Bristol Law School as Project Officer for Accreditations and Special Projects. The faculty is currently working towards the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACBS) International Accreditation, and I work as part of the project team who are responsible for meeting the different stages of the accreditation process, with particular focus on the work we undertake with our International Partners.

AACSB strives to continuously improve engagement among business, faculty, institutions, and students so that business education is aligned with the needs of business practice. To fulfill this goal, AACSB encourages and accelerates innovation to continuously improve business education.

I am also part of the Faculty Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce, I support an Associate Professor and her team on a Post Occupancy Research Project, I attend the Universities Women's Forum as well as the Faculty Forum (Women in Leadership – Women inspiring to Leadership). I support the universities initatives around mental health awareness having undertaking a podcast for the #LetsTalkNow series, talking about my own experiences of depression.

In 2016-17, as part of the faculty's move to the new Bristol Business School building I led the project team that worked on acquiring and displaying students' artworks that now hang across the building. I am now leading on the next phase of that project – to commission and engage students and local artists to create a vibrant and visually inspiring environment in our amazing new home.

I started working at UWE  in 2014  and in 2015 in the role of Executive Officer to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of the Bristol Business School - Bristol Law School and manager to the Executive Support Office. I have nine years of management experience and have completed ILM Level 3. I have recently completed APM Fundamentals and APM PMQ. I am hoping to undertake a Prince 2 foundation qualification at the start of 2020 alongside a Design Thinking qualification.
