About me

With 25 years in Higher Education, I have built my career around developing the next generation of engineers while maintaining a strong focus on industry-relevant technologies and practical engineering solutions.

As a Mechanical and Automotive Engineer, my expertise spans manufacturing, prototyping, internal combustion engines, and electric vehicle technologies. I am passionate about bridging the gap between theory and practice, creating learning environments that enable students to develop the technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience demanded by modern engineering industries.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, from traditional manufacturing and combustion technologies to the rapidly evolving world of electrification and sustainable mobility. This unique perspective allows me to help students and industry partners navigate the transition from established engineering practices to emerging technologies.

My professional interests include:

• Advanced manufacturing and production processes
• Rapid prototyping and product development
• Internal combustion engine design and performance
• Electric and hybrid vehicle systems
• Engineering education and curriculum innovation
• Industry collaboration and applied research
• Developing practical, project-based learning experiences

I am committed to fostering innovation, supporting engineering excellence, and equipping future engineers with the skills, confidence, and adaptability needed to succeed in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world.
