About me

Lindsay is the Co-Programme Leader for the MSc Sport & Exercise Psychology and a Senior Lecturer. In addition to her academic role she is a chartered sport psychologist and HCPC registered practitioner. She developed The Sporting Mindset; a sport psychology consultancy business that maximises the performance of individuals and teams through the application of sport psychology principles.

She has worked with professional sport teams, athletes, coaches, parents and sport science professionals across a range of sports. Her career highlight was providing sport psychology support to Bath Rugby team and in particular the development and implementation of a transitional protocol to help increase the number of academy players successfully achieving first team contracts.

Lindsay is passionate about athlete welfare and raising awareness of mental health in sport through her role as an ambassador for the charity State of Mind Rugby Union.
