About me

I am Programme Leader for the BSc Games Technology degree and teach across both Games Technology and Digital Media programmes. An enthusiastic teacher, with extensive experience in curriculum design and delivery, I am committed to exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning, particularly in programming, drawing on both industry and academic experience to continually refine my practice.

I am passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within technology and actively champion initiatives that support women and underrepresented groups in this field. I am currently working with groups such as Women in Games, Girls in Tech, Women in SCCT and Athena Swan and working on events that inspire participation and awareness of our subject area.

My research interests include computer vision and graphics for games and production, and the application of gaming technologies to enhance learning in other sectors. Currently, I am collaborating with the School of Health to develop simulated game-based content to improve training and education in healthcare settings.
