I am the Programme Leader for the undergraduate forensic science programmes. I teach on a number of undergraduate modules including; Scientific Investigation of Crime, Forensic Analysis and Toxicology, Forensic Evidence, and Drugs and Toxicology. I also am involved in the teaching and assessment on the postgraduate module Advanced Forensic Analysis.

My previous research projects have involved the detection of illicit substances in wastewater and the analysis of synthetic cannabinoid fragmentation patterns from GC-MS analysis. I have also started to investigate the role of trace evidence, such as fragrances and lubricants, in forensic science.
