About me

Maria graduated from Manchester Business School with a PhD in Operations, Technology and Innovation Management. Her thesis, "European Policy and Operational Change" explored the effects of European Innovation policies on the management of healthcare projects in Framework Programmes. Previous qualifications include an MSc in Operations Management (UMIST) and a BA Hons in Business (De Montfort University).  

Maria was a Research Associate in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship group at Imperial College Business School from 2009 to 2011, received the Tore Browaldh three year funding to conduct her own research in innovation project management at the University of Umea Sweden from 2011 to 2014, was a lecturer in Management Systems at the University of Hull Business School, and senior lecturer in Project Management at the Manchester Metropolitan University. She now jointed UWE Bristol as a senior lecturer in Project Management.
