About me
Marieke manages the College of Health, Science and Society (CHSS) Digital Learning Service (DLS) team. She joined UWE in early 2024 from UCL where she was Head of Digital Assessment. She has been working in Digital Education for 25 years at various HE Institutions. Marieke works closely with the two other College Digital Learning Managers and is a member of the DLS leadership team.
Area of expertise
Marieke's expertise includes digital strategy, assessments, quality assurance, data, VLEs and AI. The CHSS DLS team work across many digital learning areas including: ePortfolios, immersive design and support, learning design, digital accessibility, digital assessment, BlackBoard Ultra implementation and support for other institutional digital learning platforms.
