About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of West England. My PhD examines the nexus between genocide and ecological destruction. I have a strong national and international reputation as an authority in my subject area and a record of high-quality publications that have become an essential underpinning for the development of a burgeoning new field in the study of genocide, namely the sociology and political economy of genocide and ecocide.
I am a convenor of the BSA Sociology of Rights Group and an Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Human Rights
