About me

I am a Senior Lecturer in Public Health at UWE Bristol. I joined from the University of Exeter in August 2026, where I was a Senior Research Fellow in Health Technology Assessment.

I am a public-health social scientist with expertise in evidence synthesis, health policy and applied population-health research. I am currently developing a specialist research programme in Arts and Health, building on existing research in performing arts, music and health and international collaboration in arts prescribing.

I have been a contributor to research grants attracting over £7 million in collaborative funding and have a contract research portfolio exceeding £1.2 million.
