About me

I am passionate about empowering UWE students to enhance their employability and achieve their ambitions of working, volunteering, and teaching overseas. With a particular focus on widening participation (WP) students, my role is dedicated to fostering equity by enabling access to impactful, high-quality employability opportunities that support all students in gaining international experience and reaching their full potential.

Area of expertise

• Global Employability & Mobility – Supporting students to access international work, volunteering, and teaching opportunities, enhancing their career prospects and global outlook.
• Widening Participation (WP) – Championing equity by developing initiatives that empower WP students to access transformative employability experiences and achieve parity with their peers.
• Student Engagement & Support – Providing tailored guidance, resources, and encouragement to help students overcome barriers and realise their ambitions.
• Partnership Development – Collaborating with internal and external partners to create high-quality, impactful employability programmes.
• Programme Design & Delivery – Designing and implementing employability interventions that promote inclusivity, confidence, and skills development.
• Advocacy for Inclusive Mobility – Driving institutional commitment to accessible international opportunities through policy development and best practice.
