About me
Michael Tchuindjang is a PhD researcher and associate lecturer in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence at UWE Bristol, specialising in defending large language models against advanced multi-turn jailbreaking attacks. His research combines cybersecurity, AI safety, and secure system design to advance the development of trustworthy intelligent systems.
For his innovative and impactful work, Michael was awarded the Best Paper Award at the UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence (UKCI) 2025.
Alongside his research, he mentors students across cybersecurity disciplines. A native French speaker from Cameroon, Michael has turned his language learning challenges into a strength, using communication as a bridge between technical depth and human understanding. He is actively involved in initiatives supporting international students at UWE, sharing his experiences to inspire those facing language barriers in the UK.
