About me
I am a commercial finance expert with an extensive portfolio of success in fortune 500 multinationals, namely Petronas, Microsoft, PepsiCo and Kimberly Clark. Over my +20 years career journey, I have gained a profound understanding of operating business models for multiple industries. I was nominated and selected for the 2013 PepsiCo Global Finance award for transformation and people leadership. Prior to joining UWE Bristol, I was the Regional Commercial Controller for the GCC countries with Kimberly Clark, handling the commercial finance side in the six Gulf countries for three business units.
I started my teaching journey with UWE in 2019. I'm particularly passionate about utilising financial technology tools such as Bloomberg for practical research applications. My research interests are in M&A, COSO, RPA and Performance Measurement. My research aims to employ academic tools to investigate questions of relevance and benefit to the industry.
