About me

I was awarded a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tabriz. I have an MSc (Sep. 2011) and a PhD (Dec. 2015) from Amirkabir University of Technology in Mechanical Engineering (minor manufacturing and production) with Honours. I was a visting researcher at the University of Bologna, postdoctoral researcher in Bristol Composites Institute (ACCIS) at the University of Bristol, and currently I am a lecturer at the University of the West of England and honorary research associate in ACCIS.

I am fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Editorial Board Member of the Composite Materials.


Research interests

Throughout the last 10 years, composite materials, especially their design and health monitoring analysis, was the main focus of my studies and research which resulted in over 80 high-quality publications, 3 patents and 2 book chapters and securing around £75k research funding Google Scholar.
