About me
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in neuroscience. After graduating I worked as a Lead Associate Practitioner in the healthcare industry for several years. Having built up operational and managerial experience, I moved into academia in 2012. My teaching since this time has included the areas of operations, strategy and general business management. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Area of expertise
Whilst my formal teaching is situated in operations, strategy, innovation management, and general business management, my primary research interest is well-being at work.
My Doctorate explored health care professional’s well-being and job satisfaction in relation to quality of care. In current research, I am exploring the mental health and well-being of social media professionals.
