About me
I have an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in neuroscience. After graduating, I worked as a Lead Associate Practitioner for the NHS for several years. Having built up operational and managerial experience, I moved into academia in 2012. My teaching since this time has included the areas of operations, strategy and general business management. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Area of expertise
While my formal teaching focuses on operations, strategy, and general business management, my research lies at the intersection of human factors, people operations, and workplace well-being.
My doctoral research examined the well-being and job satisfaction of healthcare professionals, exploring how these factors influence the quality of care. Currently, my work extends to investigating the mental health and well-being of professionals working in social media and content creation.
