About me

I am Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer for the MSc Applied Strength and Conditioning at the University of the West of England. My background is in physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation and sports medicine, with experience across clinical practice, professional sport, teaching, research and programme leadership.

My academic and applied interests focus on strength and conditioning, sports injury rehabilitation, biomechanics, human movement analysis and performance optimisation. I have a particular interest in the use of laboratory-based movement analysis to support clinical reasoning, rehabilitation planning, athlete development and research-informed practice.

I am also interested in the developing role of technology in rehabilitation and human performance, including biomechanics, robotics, prosthetics development and artificial intelligence. My work is informed by a strong interest in applied research, clinical decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration and the translation of evidence into practice across sport, rehabilitation and health settings.
