About me

I am currently a doctoral candidate in Applied Sciences with research focus on developing antimicrobial interventions at interfaces of contact between humans and wildbirds to mitigate the transfer of zoonotic pathogens of avian origin. This involves exploring antimicrobial capabilities of natural compounds against zoonotic pathogens using varieties of models and approaches including additive manufacturing.

With a background in Human Physiology and Biomedical Sciences encompassing clinical biochemistry and medical microbiology, I hold a good understanding of human systems, pathophysiology and biochemical processes.

I support undergraduate(UG) and masters (MSc) students during laboratory practical and teaching  sessions and their final year projects.
