About me

Rachel is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in the application of psychology to your health and well-being and registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.

Rachel has written and taught on child development and in particular, how knowing how the child thinks can help us work more effectively with children in a therapeutic setting.

Registered with the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapists and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, she has experience of working with a wide range of anxiety-related conditions, low mood, phobias and eating behaviours.

Rachel has developed Master’s and Doctoral training courses for psychologists over the past 20 years. She holds the PGCHE training qualification for adult learners, is the Deputy Chair of the Division of Health Psychology Training Committee and continues to signpost the national curriculum for training psychologists to work in the field of health.
