About me
Richard McClatchey has been research active for the past 30 years in the areas of large-scale distributed data and process management and database. Currently a Fellow of both the British Computer Society and the Institute of Engineering and Technology with a PhD in Physics and DPhil in Computer Science, McClatchey has published over 200 papers and has holds the Chair of Applied Computer Science at UWE. Current expertise lies in Cloud and Grid computing and data and knowledge management particularly in its application to medical applications.
