About me
Senior Clinical Engineer and Academic with over a decade of experience in rehabilitation engineering across NHS services and higher education. Currently leading the Clinical Engineering (Rehabilitation) programme at UWE and delivering specialist AAC services at North Bristol NHS Trust. Proven track record in medical device design, service innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, underpinned by a prior career as a commissioned aircraft engineering officer.

Detailed understanding of current technology in use across UK healthcare settings
Current understanding of NHS processes, practices and funding mechanisms
Assessment, prescription and delivery of assistive technology for diverse patient groups (age ranges and medical conditions)
Medical device design and evaluation, with a particular specialism in assistive technologies such as wheelchairs, specialist seating, functional electrical stimulation and communication aids
Clinical safety and compliance, including incident investigation
