About me
Senior Lecturer in Architecture at UWE Bristol, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, architecture students across a variety of modules, with a focus on collaborative practice, architectural ethics + agency, future practice and professional development.
With over 20 years extensive experience as a qualified Architect, Samantha has worked previously in a variety of award winning practices in Asia and the UK; from large multidisciplinary offices to small practices in London and the South East. In 2009, Samantha relocated to Bristol to work at award winning practice White Design Associates, where she worked with like minded individuals where people and sustainability were embedded within the practice and at the forefront of every project.
In 2017, SW Design+Architecture was formed working on community and private residential projects, with a focus on a collaborative and sustainable approach. The practice will continue, with a view to becoming an organisation that will provide opportunities for architecture students to gain essential skills and experience through a variety of research and community projects.
