About me

Saniya Zafar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cyber Security at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), UK. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Space Technology (IST), Islamabad, Pakistan, in December 2023. Her doctoral research focused on Deep Learning-based Resource Allocation in Moving Small Cell Networks, with an emphasis on distributed secure resource allocation and privacy-preserving resource sharing. She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS, Islamabad, Pakistan (2016), and an MS from IST, Islamabad, Pakistan (2018). Her research interests span artificial intelligence, federated learning, cyber security, wireless communications, IoT, and autonomous systems, with a focus on developing AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges. Actively engaged in the research community, she serves as an invited reviewer for leading IEEE journals and participates in technical committees for prestigious international conferences. Passionate about innovation, she is dedicated to exploring AI’s role in shaping secure next-generation communication systems.
