About me
I am a Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UWE. I earned my PhD in Civil, Sustainability, and Environmental Engineering from Arizona State University, specializing in Hydrosystems Engineering. I also hold a MSc in Soil Mechanics from Imperial College London and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong–Liverpool University.
My research focuses on addressing water, environmental, and climate challenges through advanced remote sensing and machine learning. Some of my work includes: Developing sustainable irrigation strategies to enhance food and water security; Urban environmental design to promote climate resilient cities; Design early warning system for municipal water quality monitoring.
