About me

Following a 20 year classroom teaching career I am now a Senior Lecturer at UWE and Course Tutor on the PGCE science secondary course.

My latest role is as Programme Leader for the upcoming online distance learning PGCE.
I teach biology, chemistry and physics but also have a background in sociology and geography.
My school teaching portfolio also includes maths, GNVQ leisure and tourism, AS science and society as well as humanities and ICT.
I am the Education Lead for the BoxED outreach programme as well as Module Leader for Guided Studies (F-year) and Learners and Teachers (PGCE secondary).
My role also involves NQT support, dissertation supervision at undergraduate and M-level and I hold Fellowship of the HEA.
