About me
I, Dr Tanvi Singh is a Lecturer in Civil Engineering cluster in Department of Engineering Design and Mathematics at UWE. I hold a degree of Phd and M.Tech(Master of Technology) in civil engg from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) from UPTU university. I am also pursuing PG in Data Science from IIIT Banglore to upgrade my research methodologies.
My specialisation is in Soil mechanics and Foundation Engineering. My Doctoral research was focused on study of 'BEHAVIOR OF BATTER PILES SUBJECTED TO OBLIQUE LOAD' where I implemented Machine Learning to analyse the experimental data on Batter Piles. I have applied the Machine learning to analyse various civil engineering problems and published several research.
Altogether I have more than Eight years of teaching experience in Civil engineering with graduate and Post graduate level. Out which more Two and half years as Head of Department My key roles while serving as a head and assistant professor are academic monitoring, curriculum planning, developing effective and innovative teaching-learning approaches, student mentoring, project guidance and most importantly, disseminating strong-value system so as to contribute in building responsible youth.
