About me
Tom is a non-practising solicitor qualified in England and .Wales.
He is a member of the Centre for Architecture and Built Environment Research, where he leads on environment and sustainability. He is also member of the International Water Security Network, the Environmental Law Unit and the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
Beyond UWE, Tom is chief legal affairs adviser to UK based ocean conservation charity, the Blue Marine Foundation.
Prior to becoming an academic Tom was a commercial property lawyer and still retains involvement in the sector.
Tom is a frequent contributor to national media on marine, environmental and property issues​
