About me

I am a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) and part of the HRM Teaching and Research Group at the University of the West of England. I teach on a range of HRMundergraduate and postgraduate modules, including Managing People and International Human Resource Management.

My previous experience includes research and teaching at the University of York Management School and Lecturer at Askham Bryan College in York.

My main research interests focus on the relationship between human resource management and organisational resilience which delves into several key areas such as Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Well-being, Leadership and Change Management, Crisis Management and Response, and Strategic HRM Alignment. By exploring these dimensions of the relationship between HRM and organisational resilience, my research contributes to advancing theoretical understanding, practical insights and evidence-based strategies for building resilient organisations in today's dynamic and uncertain business landscape.

My office hours are Mondays 1:00pm-2:00pm and 3:30pm-4:30pm. Please contact me via email to arrange an appointment.

Area of expertise

Human Resource Management (HRM), International Human Resource Management (IHRM), Organisational Resilience. My current research centres on the link between human resource management and organisational resilience.
