Associate Director of the Biological and Biomedical Science subject group, Program Leader of the MSci programs in Applied Sciences, Senior Lecturer in Immunology and Module leader for L5 Immunology.
Compassionate person-centred leader and teacher, with a focus on embedding, supporting and sharing inclusive and reflective practice to enable staff and students to grow.
A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, PGCert with distinction (UWE, Bristol), Postdoc examining immunity to Neisseria & establishing mucosal immunity group (University of Bristol), PhD in Photobiology looking at UV damage and protection using skin explants (Imperial College London formerly Royal Postgraduate Medical School at Hammersmith), BSc in Biology (University of Nottingham) with duel interests in water pollution and immunology.

Systemic and mucosal immunity to Neisseria meningitidis (naturally acquired and vaccine induced).
Investigation into the underlying pathology of polymyalgia rheumatica
Human skin explants for in vitro assessment of UV damage & protection by sunscreens (industry funded 8y collaboration)
