About me

I completed my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and then worked as a landscape architect on projects of different types and scales. These included residential complexes, new neighbourhoods, streets, and parks. I then received the prestigious Chevening scholarship, and with it, completed a master's degree in Urban Design and City Planning from UCL. After graduating, I worked as an associate landscape architect and urban planner for several years.

I am currently undertaking my PhD at UWE as part of the Centre for Sustainable Planning and Environments. My PhD research focuses on exploring the relationship between students' experience in greenspace, nature connectedness and pro-environmental orientation. Within this topic, I am particularly interested in understanding the role of greenspace design. My research has been presented at international conferences. I am also an Associate Lecturer in Urban Greening and Landscape Architecture.
