About me
I am an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at UWE Bristol, a registered pharmacist, independent prescriber and Senior Fellow of Advance HE. I have has extensive experience across higher education, clinical pharmacy, medicines safety and governance. My current work includes developing pharmacy curricula, practice-based learning and external partnerships, informed by my senior leadership experience across academic and NHS settings.
Area of expertise
My research interests include pharmacogenomics and its implementation in clinical practice, particularly within mental health; medicines safety and optimisation; and within pharmacy education. I am also interested in innovative curriculum design, prescribing education, work-based learning and preparing future pharmacists for evolving professional practice.
