About me

I am a Lecturer on the Children and Young Peoples Nursing Programme. I graduated from the Child Nursing programme at UWE in 2024 and worked as a Scrub Nurse in Paediatric Theatres at BRCH specialising in ENT and Urology. 

Prior to becoming a nurse I worked in both academic research and as a Careers Consultant for postgraduate and undergraduate students. My academic background is in Human Geography, co-produced research methods, and workplace dynamics. I gained my PhD in Human Geography in 2013.
