About me
I trained as a primary school teacher, here at UWE, and began my teaching career in Bristol. I've taught in a variety of city primary schools as well as supporting schools in challenging circumstances and delivering English CPD. I have taught across the primary age range from Reception to Year Six and have worked in a variety of roles from class teacher to English consultant to Headteacher.
Giving back to the next generation of trainee teachers has always been an aim of mine and now, as part of the English Team, I support students to develop their English subject knowledge, their knowledge of children's literature and their teaching skills.
