About me

I am a manager within UWE Bristol's Innovation and Impact Team in the Research and External Engagement Department. My role is to build relationships with businesses, 3rd sector and public sector organisations to understand their needs and challenges in order to provide appropriate collaborative solutions for them. 

These include: highlighting the benefits of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships; industry funded PhDs; academic consultancy; research collaboration; accessing facilities; degree apprenticeships; future talent (internships, placements, graduate jobs); skills and professional development opportunities at UWE Bristol. 

I work closely with both academic and professional services colleagues across UWE Bristol to support the RISE agenda.

I have over 25 years experience working within different Higher Education institutions, my roles have ranged from international student recruitment, careers consultancy, degree apprenticeships, CPD/skills and, most recently, innovation and knowledge exchange. 

I have a BA Hons in French, Spanish and European Politics from Northumbria University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance from the University of Warwick.
