About me
I am currently Senior Lecturer in Art & Design Education within the UWE School of Education Team.
I have a real passion for Art & Design Education and the powerful holistic benefits of creative learning. I enjoy sharing my experience and passion with current and future Secondary Art & Design trainees and supporting them through their PGCE as they go on to inspire our future generations.
I have worked in Art Education for twenty years as an Art & Design Teacher and as Head of Art. I also co-led a Creative Learning Area incorporating Art, Music and Drama departments. Additionally, I have previously led the Education Programme for an International Arts Centre and worked in a major contemporary Art Gallery.
