About me
Kat works in 2 roles: as a Data Visualisation Officer in RBI, where she creates different types of media and assets to highlight the research and business support programmes happening at the university.
Kat also supports the School of Engineering's inclusive community engagement programmes, aiming to bridge the nationwide skills gap by promoting engineering and science among children and young people in the Bristol area, particularly from underrepresented communities.
Additionally, Kat organises and coordinates UWE Bristol's monthly repair café, where students, staff, community members, and industry volunteers collaborate to fix items for free, preventing them from ending up in landfill and reducing the environmental impact of overconsumption.
Kat holds a BSc in Business Management from the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
Growing up in Germany's Black Forest, a mountainous region known for its dense woodland, has fostered her passion for nature and environmental causes.
