About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in Organisation Studies at UWE Bristol Business School. I am involved in the design and delivery of modules on theory and practice of managing and organising in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. I joined UWE in Autumn 2022. I hold a PhD in Management Studies from the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.
My research interests are broadly in the field of Business Ethics and Corporate Responsibilities, with a specific focus on the ethics and politics of organising work, workers and workplaces, and the institutional work in keeping society sane and safe as part of corporate digital innovation responsibilities. My research work is premised on the imperative of individual and collective responsibility and the place of ethics and politics (at various levels of analysis) in keeping corporate practices and public policies at pace with the major technological developments that are shaping our society and the world of work.
I welcome proposals from prospective PhD candidates who are interested in undertaking research on topics within the fields of Business Ethics, Corporate Responsibilities, and Business and Society, with a critical lens and qualitative methods.
My office hours are Mondays and Wednesdays (10:00-13:00). Please get in touch to discuss alternative meeting arrangements.
