About me

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Arts and Programme Leader for the BA Media Production course. 

**Winner of UWE's Outstanding Contribution to Student Experience Award (2024)**

Area of expertise

My research interests include creative industries development, political economy of the media, cultural policy and regulation, communications theory, radio and podcasting. 

Teaching:
 
I have extensive experience in programme management and module/curriculum development. In addition to occasionally teaching into the Audio and Storytelling module, I currently lead the following modules:

  • UABB9C-30-1 - Introduction to Media Production
  • UABB4S-30-2 - Creative Industries and Cultural Value
  • UABB5V-30-3 - Digital Marketing and Content Production
  • UABB4M-30-3 - Sound, Image, Space
