About me
Phil Cole is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations. His publications include Philosophies of Exclusion: Liberal Political Theory and Immigration (Edinburgh University Press 2000),The Myth of Evil (Edinburgh University Press 2007), and, with Christopher Heath Wellman, Debating the Ethics of Immigration (Oxford University Press 2011).
He is currently writing a book about forced displacement, looking at issues such as refugees and asylum, climate displacement, trafficking and people smuggling, For 2019/2010 he has been awarded the British Academy Thank Offering to Britain Senior Research Fellowship to work on this project.
