About me

I am a research assistant at the Centre for Transport and Society (CTS) at UWE Bristol, exploring the current state of knowledge about travel within and for the night-time economy in Bristol, considering accessibility and safety, and surfacing mobility deficits. I am also completing a PhD at the Centre for the Environment, Society and Resilience (CESR) at UWE Bristol, investigating how public policy instruments are used to tackle environmental issues in food strategies, paying special attention to how past choices influence future policy. My research explores policy instrument mixes, foresight methods, sustainability governance, and stakeholder engagement to address challenges in food systems.

Area of expertise

I have extensive experience in qualitative research, working as a research assistant on projects related to the circular economy in food supply chains and the social aspects of sustainability. I have also developed quantitative research skills, contributing to studies on sustainable transport and public perception. My latest publication explores multistakeholder interventions to reduce carbon emissions in the food system at a local level using plant-based diets.
