About me
With a background in the Aerospace Industry, I am interested in developing professionals to their full potential once inside the engineering /manufacturing sector.
As a Senior Fellow of the HIgher Education Academy and a UWE Learning and Teaching Fellow I aim to ensure suitable academic pedagogy underpins the learning of engineers at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
My expertise is in professional and workforce development, both within Engineering and beyond, identifying common ground for student learning and organisational capability. I am involved in alternative methods of learning delivery, such as work-based learning and assessment, to meet organisations' educational requirements and to ensure individuals' develop their full potential.
My goal is to provide students with the opportunity to achieve professional sustainability throughout their working lives, with an understanding of and ability to investigate and undertake life long learning.
