About me
I am a Research Fellow at the Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of the West of England, and have recently completed my PhD at the Centre for Sustainable Planning and Environments. My doctoral research explored the relationship between students’ experiences of greenspace, nature connectedness, and pro-environmental orientation.
I completed a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and subsequently worked as a landscape architect on projects of varying types and scales, including residential developments, new neighbourhoods, streets, and parks. I was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship, through which I completed a master’s degree in Urban Design and City Planning at University College London. Following this, I worked for several years as an associate landscape architect and urban planner.
My expertise includes qualitative and place-based research methods, particularly observation, photo-elicitation interviews, and walking interviews. My work sits at the intersection of landscape architecture, urban planning, public health, and environmental behaviour, with a focus on how everyday interactions with nature shape wellbeing and pro-environmental outcomes.
Area of expertise
