About me
I am a lecturer in computer science and a fellow of HEA. I am a member of the Computer Science Research Centre. My research interest is in machine learning and data mining with a special interest in applying machine learning techniques to other disciplines such as geography; Environment; health; and wellbeings; I am also interested in Natural Language Processing (NLP) research as well as Social Media mining.
I teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am currently leading the Knowledge base and Hybrid System module; Social Media and Web Science module, and co-leading the Systems Development Group Project module. I also supervise undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. projects/dissertations. I would be happy to hear from potential doctoral candidates who have interests in the above or related research areas.
