Abhinesh specialises in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and leverages emerging technologies such as extended reality and artificial intelligence to transform design processes, safety training, and communication in the construction industry. He holds an MSc in BIM and a PhD in immersive technology, combining academic expertise with practical industry experience.
His research focuses on optimising design, advancing safety practices through cutting-edge visualisation, and utilising eye-tracking technology to explore human cognition and occupational health. His research focuses on leveraging technology in pedagogy, creating intelligent immersive environments for construction safety and health, advancing immersive solutions for vulnerable road user safety, developing cutting-edge visualisation tools for design optimisation and communication in the AEC industry and understanding the impact of environmental fidelity on task performance and design outcomes.
