About me

I am a research associate, with a MSc in Health Psychology (Distinction). In this role, I am involved in several clinical academic programme projects related to the Southwest regional and national Integrated Clinical Academic (ICA) programme and research delivered by the Research in Urgent and Emergency Care Avon Collaborative Hub (REACH). I am also currently working on research at the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust in the Rheumatology department.

I previously worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Appearance Research working with fellow researchers on the Teen Appearance and Body Image (TABI) study looking at young people's experiences with appearance and body image.  I also worked as a research assistant in my final year of my bachelors looking at the awareness, knowledge, and attitudes of young adults towards organ donation and the opt-out system.

My MSc dissertation consisted of looking at undergraduate students learning experiences online during COVID-19 and proposed several coping strategies in which online learning could be made more manageable and improve students' health and well-being. Prior to this I worked at a primary school as a classroom assistant working with children aged 6-11 years old, some with learning disabilities including ADHD and autism.
