About me
Anne-Marie Cummins is ex UK Editor of the journal Organisational and Social Dynamics and her research interests include the dynamics of helping relationships, the relationship between social science and psychodynamic models and the application of this to real-world professional dilemmas. She has a background in consulting to SME’s, Human Services and Educational establishments and her approach combines solution-oriented workshops and open-ended ‘process’ consultancy and is informed by systems thinking, family therapy, and psychodynamic understanding. She also has a practice-based background including training in counselling and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and has worked as a member of staff, nationally and internationally on Group Relations Conferences and also as a consultant to a variety of organisations in the public and private sectors. Teaching specialisms include quantitative and psycho-social research methods, psychoanalytic theory and psycho-social approaches to groups and organisations. Anne-marie is currently training in Group Analysis
