About me
Baiyang Shi received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2020, following a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China in 2015 and an MSc in Advanced Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2016. Prior to joining UWE Bristol, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamics, vibration control, power flow analysis, and machine learning, with applications in renewable energy and engineering systems. He has secured funding as PI for two research grants and has contributed as a Co-I to several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
