About me
I am a Colombia trained architect (equivalent to RIBA part 1 and 2) with a master’s degree (MSc) in architecture and Urbanism, and I am currently completing my PhD studies at Oxford Brookes University’s School of Architecture. My research project focuses on Inclusive Design and evaluating the actual space performance of residential environments from the user’s perspective.
I have experience working in the built environment industry as a consultant in bioclimatic (passive) design and human comfort and teaching at different levels in Higher Education.
My research interests include bioclimatic and passive design, sustainable development of the built environment, ergonomics and human factors, Inclusive Design, and human comfort and well-being.
