About me
I trained as a primary school teacher at UWE and began my teaching career in Bristol. Since then, I have worked across a wide range of primary schools, including supporting schools in challenging circumstances and delivering English CPD. I have taught across the primary age range from Reception to Year Six and have also held leadership positions including Deputy Head, English Advisory Teacher, and Headteacher.
A longstanding aim of mine has been to support the next generation of teachers. As part of the English Team, I now work with trainee teachers to develop their English subject knowledge, deepen their understanding of children’s literature, and strengthen their skills and confidence in the classroom.
