About me

I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Registered Clinical Supervisor, and a Senior Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy with the BPS. I work as a registered practitioner psychologist with the HCPC and a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the BPS. I have been working as a counselling psychologist for over 20 years, and I am also a BAMBA registered mindfulness teacher and trained EMDR therapist.  

 I have been a part of the programme team delivering the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of the West of England Bristol since 2010 as a part-time Senior Lecturer, with input into our BPS accredited BSc Psychology programme. I have module leader and doctoral research supervisor experience, as well as experiencing coordinating training placements for counsellors and counselling psychologists.

I am also actively engaged in research within the Centre for Appearance Research and the Psychological Sciences Research Group at UWE.

I identify as female, I practice Buddhism, and I act as co-leader of the Centre for Appearance Research Diversity, Inclusivity and Equality committee.
