About me
I am a post-doctoral researcher with interests in experimental film cultures, DIY and alternative film exhibition and photo-chemical film practice.
I am a founder member of Star and Shadow Cinema Coop in Newcastle upon Tyne, and I organise an annual film retreat - Losing the Plot, in rural Northumberland. I have been producing a zine called FILMO# for the European-wide network of alternative cinemas Kino Climates.
My specialism is in the history and contemporary practice of DIY film culture, specifically film exhibition.
